The tonic of wildness 🤎

We made a whole ritual, just to be able to land our feets on this sacred yet magical land. We expressed our gratitude, we prayed, we asked for signs of our ancestors. I felt accepted right away. Autumn is slowly kissing summer goodbye and I just feel this sweet gratitude rising for every door that slammed shut, every path that closed. None of it was rejection. It was redirection. I got the map✨🗺️

So what didn’t work out actually worked out PERFECTLY. I see that now. Perspective is the whole alchemy baby. But on a cellular level, I always knew I’d come home. Back to my roots, back to the nature that speaks my first language.

I won’t lie.. I’ve been in movement while shedding some skin. Still am. And I want to keep listening to my body’s whisper, to my need to keep becoming, to whatevaa wants to unfold next. But I also want roots that hold. Both. Not one instead of the other.

Trees know this dance already. They bend for every season without losing themselves. They never know exactly when the wind will come, but readiness lives in their DNA. Adaptation isn’t fear. It’s trust. So I’m rooting down and reaching up, all at once. That’s not contradiction. That’s how anything wild and alive actually grows. 🌳✨

Une journée hors du temps dans l’archipel de Mingan ✨🌊

Ce matin-là, on a salué le soleil avec une séance de yoga sur la petite île au Marteau, le soleil, les monolithes et le son des baleines comme seul décor.

L’après-midi, direction les fonds marins pour une session de plongée en apnée entre les vagues et les secrets de ce coin de pays unique 🤿🌀

Cette sortie restera gravée comme un vrai moment de rêve, exactement le genre de journée qu’on aime faire vivre à notre communauté.

Some things arrive as quiet synchronicities.

This retreat was one of them. And god, things didn’t unfold how I expected. I came in with a vision of fire, something to fuel our creativity. What arrived instead was a deep cleanse, making space for the fire to land.

A body of water. Pure yin energy.

A space to release. To soften out of the head and to come back into the body and into the heart baby 🤍🥹

The best thing I could do was let the energy of the room breathe through me and adapt the space so every woman there felt safe enough to let go. It was magical. And had the best girls with me by my side. Ughhhhh

Architecture that speaks across generations.

These walls hold something rare, the quiet energy of every family that lived within them, every season that passed through. The details, the stillness, the way a space can feel both ancient and alive.

As an editor and creative collaborator deeply rooted in West Coast modernism for @westcoastmodernhomes , I’ve always been drawn to the full spectrum of it. Between clean lines and intentional design, there will always be something that pulls me back to the oldest ones, to spaces that were never trying. No trend, no concept. Just craft, time and intention.
