My Full Review:

Christmas at the Hunt Hotel was most of everything I want in a holiday romance. It’s festive and just charming! It has that magic you find in your classic Hallmark holiday movie, but with such panache!! I was cackling on the first page, and by the end of our first chapter, I was in love with our FMC. She’s relatable, she’s hilarious, and she’s someone I would want as my best friend! This also fulfilled all my English Christmas dreams!
I love when a story is so immersive that I feel like I’M the main character. The MMC? The perfect, most grumpiest grump, and I LOVED him!

This was my first read by Carrie Elk, and I absolutely devoured her writing style. It is exactly what I love to read!! Everything is described so intricately and with such personality and flair. The characters are complex, growing, and just so enjoyable to read about! The forced proximity is done perfectly and in such a satisfying way! I can confidently say I will be coming back for more Carrie Elk! Also...this NEEDS to be a movie!!

My Full Review:

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. I meannn, WHAT A RIDE. This was whimsical, it was fast paced, action packed, THE PLOT!!!, THE BANTERRRR, THE TWISTS AND TURNS!!! I mean, just unreal!!

I absolutely fell in love with Huntsbane! It’s written with such vividness while also having deep emotional depth. I went through ALL the emotions. The romance was so sweet and honestly, it was healing. The mental health representation is written with so much care and intent. Our characters are complex and layered, each on their own individual journeys but together. I was rooting for them until the very end, and I have so much love for the friendships and found family.

I loved the history and the lore we get throughout Huntsbane. The world building is crafted carefully and given to us throughout the story as a whole. The plot twists I genuinely did not see coming, and they hit HARD!! Each chapter captivates you and makes sure you won’t be putting this down. This is a standalone, and it left me SO satisfied!!

You will fall in love with these characters, and you will NOT want to let them go!! I don’t even want to finish my review bc I can’t stop thinking about Huntsbane 😭✨🪻

My Full Review:

This review is FRESH from finishing The Lost Guardian. IM OBSESSED. This is action packed, vivid story telling, colorful and intricate depictions, and full of adventure. I don’t believe I’ve ever read this take on a Romantasy before and I am so here for it!!

As a Hispanic girlie, I loved all the Latin and Indigenous culture that made up this story. The story is fast paced and had me on my own adventure googling all things Peru, atahualpa, and ceviche (🤭). I also enjoyed the single pov from our male main character. I feel I I don’t often see the single point of view come from our male protagonist and it was really refreshing for me. I loved Santi and he’s such a cinnamon roll of a character and he had me laughing with his inner monologue.

The romance is slow burn and takes it time developing. It’s so rewarding of a wait! There’s so many twists and turns and I was honestly totally caught off guard by them…which is PERFECT! I love being kept on my toes and it makes the story 10x more enjoyable for me. That sneak of Book 2 has me so eager and I cannot wait for our next adventure!!

If you love Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and National Treasure mixed in with some good romance and supernatural elements….you will LOVE THIS!

My Review:

I can’t say enough good things about Then Until Forever!! From the first page, I was SAT! It’s just such an intoxicating read, and it felt like watching a movie. It’s cozy, it’s hilarious, the romance is so so sweet AND THERE IS A CAT!!

I adore Avery & Jax! Their chemistry is off the charts, and genuinely, I cannot find one thing I didn’t like about them! We get the small town vibes, amazing female friendships, the bromance is unmatched, AND DID I MENTION A CAT?!

I was giggling and kicking my feet for almost the majority of this read! This is a second chance romance done well! The tension is palpable. And by the end, I was crying happy tears AND sad tears because I didn’t want it to end. Also, I love a good insert the book title moment. It’s just the best little bow on top.

I’m also selfishly hoping we get more of these characters in future books! (Looking at you, R & L 👀). I will be reading more of Mase Evans!! 🥰🍂🤎

This was my first ever Lynn Painter book, and I am KICKING myself for not picking up one of her books sooner. This was everything I love about a YA romance.

The nostalgic feeling this book gave me was like sitting in my room as a teenage girl and belting a Taylor Swift album like I just met the love of my life or like I just went through the worst heartbreak (PSA: I had not 😂). But it’s just that kind of raw feeling. Julia and Damion* will forever hold a special place in my heart.

The writing is some of my favorite to read. It makes me laugh out loud, it can make me cry, and it feels like I’m walking those New York streets as fall leaves float down around me. Some of my favorite tropes, done just right. In a way that feels relatable, and you just can’t get enough. Enemies to lovers, small town girl/big city guy, he tutors her…I mean, come onnnn!! I will definitely be needing more of Lynn Painter.
