Giving back to build homes, communities and hope. 💙💚 Thank you for sharing the #FoodGiftLove that helps unlock the door to affordable housing! Your incredible support of our Give Back collection of gourmet gifts helped us deliver a $2,500 donation to Habitat for Humanity of Wausau to support their life-changing efforts in our community. In Q4 of 2019, we launched our Give Good campaign, donating 15% of the profits from specially marked gifts to our local chapter of @habitatforhumanity. Fueled by your support, we've been able to raise nearly $30,000 to purchase building materials for new home construction, fund critical home repairs, support education in the trades, revitalize neighborhoods and build ramps to make homes more accessible. Food brings people together to spark conversation, create shared experiences and make memories you'll cherish for years to come. We hosted a Deaf Awareness and introductory Sign Language session on the Farm to recognize Deaf Awareness Month in September. Ridgers Wendy, Carol and Huong volunteered their time to share sign language skills with our team. We enjoyed learning more about Deaf culture, improving our communication skills and better understanding the experiences of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
