Eleven days after his crash at the Philadelphia Cycling Classic, Ezra Caudell remains in the ICU at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition, but he continues to show encouraging signs of progress.

Ezra remains on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), which is providing support while his lungs continue to heal. Yesterday marked an important milestone: he was successfully weaned from deep sedation and taken off the ventilator, allowing his family and medical team a much clearer assessment of his neurologic status.

Ezra sustained significant injuries in the crash, including a concussion and severe chest trauma. While his medical team remains focused on supporting his recovery from these injuries, his progress over the past several days has been encouraging.

Despite the severity of his injuries—and very much consistent with Ezra’s personality—it wasn’t long after waking that he was making jokes and sending short videos to his teammates. His ability to interact, communicate, and recognize those around him has been an especially welcome and encouraging development.

Ezra’s family remains at his bedside, vigilant and hopeful. He is very much on the minds of his teammates and staff at Modern Adventure Pro Cycling, as well as friends and supporters throughout the cycling community.

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support for Ezra and his family, and for the continued respect for their privacy during this difficult time.

Important milestones still lie ahead. But after an extraordinarily difficult 11 days, there is genuine reason for hope as he begins his road to recovery. by @maprocycling

Meet the 22nd rider on our squad, Jess Munton — @byron_munton’s little sister.

In January 2024, Jessie and her entire family were packed up and getting ready to move to Girona to join Byron, excited to chase her dream of becoming a professional cyclist. But on January 14th, while out on a training ride ahead of the South African National Championships, Jessie was struck from behind by an intoxicated driver.

Jess has kept fighting, for her life in the ICU, and every single day through rehab since. The Munton family has now completed their move to Girona, where she’s receiving specialized care at @somhirehab, a pioneering neurological rehabilitation center that focuses on intensive, individualized therapy for people recovering from severe brain injuries.

Her recovery relies not only on expert clinical care, but also on access to highly specialized equipment and technology designed to support neurological recovery… all of which comes with significant ongoing costs.

Now, she needs our support to keep going.

Surreal feeling crossing the finish line this past Sunday @montreal_2026 🇨🇦🌈

Some time in the Hot Seat during the Time Trial, followed by the Road Race that tested me in every possible way!

It’s always a privilege to represent your nation at the highest level. Being able to come home knowing I left every last pedal stroke on the road makes this one pretty special.

A huge thank you to everyone for the support, and especially to those back home.🇿🇦🙌

SECOND PLACE FOR RILEY PICKRELL!

Riley Pickrell of Modern Adventure Pro Cycling secured 2nd place in Stage 3 of Le Tour de Langkawi 2026, finishing in a thrilling sprint finish in Kuala Kangsar.

After another strong performance, Pickrell once again showed his speed and consistency at LTdL 2026 — following his runner-up finish in Stage 1.
