Souvenirs that flew back home with me from The Big Apple 🍎

I had so much fun visiting all the stationery shops, indie bookstores, and needlepoint stores while visiting NYC! Wandering around a city and collecting art and little trinkets as I support local small businesses and creatives is one of my most favorite activities 🥰

✨ September Recap ✨

It was a busy month mostly spent at home with my dogs but also with some social activities sprinkled throughout. Excited to finally be in the ‘ber months and for all the fall activities to come!

My fave read of the month was If It Makes You Happy by Julie Olivia! The perf read to dive into fall. I’m also intrigued to read her 2nd book that dropped recently and has similar vibes for the cover art 🍂

The best time in the city that never sleeps ✨

Maybe Happy Ending was INCREDIBLE!!! Tears in my eyes as the curtains closed. Chicago was also so good and Hadestown was so fun! Everyone was so talented and the music was amazing.

Loved every meal we ate! Making resys before you go is the move!! Just make sure to check when reservations open and keep in mind time zones!

So many delicious coffee shops, cocktail bars, and bevies galore! Every place is truly its own character between the selections, art, and overall vibes.

We were so excited to go on a white and black cookie crawl! Our top choice is William Greenberg on the upper east side! We went on a walk through Central Park and ended up on the MET steps to do our final side by side comparison and it was the best morning!

JELLIES!!! I had to make another resy at the Jellycat Diner ofc to try out their new menu! I left with the french fries and pistachio for me and a pizza to go for my friend. NYC always has the best selection!!

Penny Linn was a dream!!! The store was beautiful! Every corner truly curated down to every detail. The staff was also so kind and helpful. I loved this shop so much!!

IYKYK - I love my a sticker, postcard, you name it. NYC has so many small businesses to shop and support and I had so much fun getting to visit a few that have been on my list to visit for quite some time! I esp loved getting to visit Paper Republic’s new setup at Topdrawer in SoHo :)

Books are Magic!! Such a fun indie bookshop to visit in Brooklyn! Left with so many goodies and such a great selection. Also located on the cutest and most magical street in Brooklyn with other small businesses and shops to explore.

Housing Works!!! *Alexa, play All Too Well*
Such a cool bookshop that also has a cafe, coffee shop, and thrift store! A must see for book shop lovers and especially for any of my fellow Swifties 🫶🏼

McNally Jackson! A must visit every time I visit NYC. They have a few locations, but this one is their shop in SoHo. I esp love getting to visit them because they also have a ton of stationery items. Their main stationery shop is Goods for The Study. I didn’t get to visit this time but I also highly recommend! by @mapuamade

Just some morning snaps of a girlie who loves to travel ✈️

My fave / essential travel items:

- all the luggage from @beis (the BEST customer service and all of their luggage is SO good! I’m traveling with their carry on suitcase and mini weekender)

- my @bookbeau pillow always (it’s become an emotional support pillow at this point let’s be for real)

- @jellycat keychains (we love an extra dose of whimsy!)

- my @kobobooks libra colour and remote (THE best ereader on the market IMO 💅🏽)

- reusable coffee sleeves from @tobethreaded (functional and whimsical!)

- my quilted @shopbando pouch I bought from my pals at @samepage.bookshop that I use to store all of my in flight essentials AKA everything I’ll need while traveling to my next destination!

- the best people as company, so excited to travel with my bestie @steph.otto85 🫶🏼 by @mapuamade
