Had a great time screening “Lucio” at the @okcinelatino 11th annual film festival. Met a lot go talented and amazing people.

I am very proud of this project and what it means to certain audiences. I wanted to thank @okcinelatino for giving me the opportunity, platform, and audience to share my story.

in regards to the first clip, It’s moments like these that make me realize what i’m doing matters to the world. That’s why I made this film. For kids like me to be seen and heard and feel understood. So that the outside lookin in can understand where we come from a little bit more.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped with this film. I like to think we are impacting with this one and that’s what filmmaking is all about!✌️

Thank you for having me 🙌

THATS A WRAP ON THE CELO TAPE TEASER!!! Ima get real for a sec. Honestly, I have so many mixed emotions. It has been an amazing ride and a wonderful experience here at UT studying radio, tv, and film. Ever since I could remember i’ve always wanted to be a filmmaker and I still can’t believe I have come this far. As I grew up I would think things like this don’t happen to a kid like me. don’t get me wrong my passion persists, but that small town don’t make too many filmmakers.

The truth is idk when will be the next time I will be directing my own project. I know after graduation ima be off into the wild west and I can’t help, but think that this may be the last time I will ever wear a directors cap (for a while at least) All I can do now is cherish these moments more and really try to be in the present. very bittersweet, but that’s how life goes.

I have so many people to thank, but the journey isn’t over. To everyone who has helped on my journey I can’t thank y’all enough. no im not quitting film, but in terms of my college filmmaking career… that’s a fucking wrap amigos.
