To My Beautiful Wife,

September 25, 2024 - the day we went to the courts, to make our union official official. It was such an honor to have mi primo @reycabada y mi prima @cellycells be witnesses to our promise and commitment to each other and share this special moment with us. While our chosen anniversary date is next month when we actually exchanged our vows, I didn’t want to let this specific date pass without acknowledging the anniversary of a very significant milestone for us.

I made sure to propose to you in the Bronx, and I love that we also got married in the Bronx, because I know how much you love your city and how proud you are to always rep your city. Our photoshoot that day was a homage to the city that raised you and molded you to the amazing, tenacious, beautiful human being you are today. And I’m so honored to be a part of that story.

It’s been 365 days {officially} married to you, and I couldn’t ask for a better year than the one I’ve spent with you, because no matter what, every day is always better with you. People ask me/us all the time, “how’s married life? Is it different??” And every time I answer “married life is great! Nothing has really changed”. I still have my best friend, my favorite person by my side every day, and life just gets sweeter and sweeter together with you. Our love continues to grow, our friendship continues to strengthen, and the life that we are building continues to align with our dreams.

When you find your person, the person who brings and maintains peace in your life, your best friend through everything, you’ve really hit the jackpot. You are Home for me. And I thank God for allowing me to experience this richness in life.
