Meet Oeno Camp Grantee, Lamar Covert.

From nightlife and hospitality to wine education, Lamar has spent more than 20 years bringing people together around great experiences.

Now a Certified Sommelier, he’s all about making wine feel approachable, engaging, and connected to culture, especially for communities that haven’t always seen themselves represented in the wine world.

We can’t wait to meet Lamar, share some Virginia wine, and have some good conversations along the way.
