Dear basketball, thank you for all of the valuable life lessons that you have taught me over these last 10 years. While you are not an easy sport, thank your for teaching me the true importance of overcoming challenges and pushing myself to be the best that I could be. You taught me how to continue to strive for more and improve my game day in and out. Without you, I wouldn’t have the drive and passion that I now possess. This is another difficult goodbye and crucial part of my life that I will miss greatly. I will forever cherish the memories that you have brought me and happiness that I have experienced with you! I am so grateful for the time that I got to spend out on the basketball court with some of my best friends. Thank you for allowing me to play with these four other seniors and for keeping us together over the years. Basketball was one of the greatest chapters of my life. Thanks for everything #1 ❤️ by @mara_ranslem

To the next Cardinal #3…
1. Be confident and strive for success
2. Give it your all every chance you get
3. Never give up
4. Value your time out on the court
5. Don’t take anything for granted
6. Enjoy all of the holes in the sleeves ;)
4 short years have passed that I have gotten the privilege to wear #3. While I can’t believe that I just played my last game in that jersey as a Cardinal, I am so thankful for the outpouring love and support that I have received from all of you. Thank you to all of my teammates, coaches, and other supporters that believed in me, when I didn’t believe in myself. To the other three seniors who have grown to be my best friends, I will forever be grateful for the memories we have made and all the time we have spent together out on the court! Cardinal Volleyball will forever hold a special place in my heart. This is one of the hardest goodbyes... #3 signing off ❤️ by @mara_ranslem
