Meet the petits nouveaux. 🍂☕️

Our autumn menu has arrived at Marais Tea Co. — filled with cozy spices, warm flavours, and a few new favourites we think you’re going to love.

From pumpkin and baked apple to all the comforting flavours of the season, there’s something new waiting for you at the café. 🤎 by @maraisteaco

It’s officially lalala season 🍂☕🤎🧸

The leaves are falling, the coffee is getting warmer, and suddenly all we want to do is wander around Central Village like we’re in Stars Hollow 🤷🏼‍♀️

You know the vibe ✨

We’re thrilled to share that Marais Tea Co. & Café has been nominated for New Business of the Year at the 2027 Chilliwack Business Excellence Awards.

Thank you to @chilliwackchamber for the nomination, and to everyone who has been part of our first chapter on Mill Street.

We're hiring. ☕️🍃

Marais is looking for a few people to join the team — behind the café bar and at the tea counter. If you love good conversation, work well with a team, and bring your full attention to the people in front of you, we'd like to meet you.

Weekend availability is a must. No coffee or tea experience needed — we'll teach you the rest.

Details and how to apply at the link in our bio — or drop your resume off in person and say hello.

Try October’s Tea of the Month:

Orchard Road Chai 🦚

Crisp apple and soft vanilla, warmed with ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and rose peppercorn. Layered over silky, caffeine-free rooibos, it’s a chai with a refined, gently spiced finish.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

It’s a day to slow down, be with the people who matter most, and reflect together.

We’re open 9–4, with tea steeping and a table for you and yours.

[Media] We recently visited Marais Tea Company @maraisteaco during our day trip to downtown Chilliwack @centralvillagechwk @downtownchwk. The French-inspired tea house shares the space with The Parisienne Market @theparisienne_market, where you can browse antiques, artwork and other finds from France.

We ordered the Parisian Fog and a half-sweet Lavender Lemonade. For lunch, we shared the Smoked Salmon Crêpe, Lemon Sugar Crêpe and Niçoise Salad with Seared Chicken, followed by a Butter Croissant and Raspberry Tart.

There is a secret garden patio hidden at the back too. It was quiet when we visited, so we brought our food and drinks outside and sat there for a bit.

I liked being able to have lunch, look through the market and spend some time on the patio before continuing our day in Chilliwack.

A quick note for our tea friends 🎬

Marais Tea Company will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week (July 29–31) while our space is used as a film set. We're excited to share more when we can!

We'll be back to our regular hours on Saturday, August 1 — thank you for your patience, and we can't wait to welcome you back over a fresh cup.

See you Saturday! by @maraisteaco

If you find yourself in Chilliwack, make time for @maraisteaco. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll find an impressive selection of premium loose-leaf teas in a variety of flavours, making it a dream destination for tea lovers. Whether you’re a fan of classic blends, fruity infusions, or something a little more unique, there’s something for everyone
.
Beyond the tea shop, you’ll discover a beautiful Parisian-inspired boutique filled with charming gifts, home décor, and treasures you’ll want to take home with you ✨✨✨
.
And then there’s the bistro. Their FRENCH CREPES are a must-try, with both sweet and savoury options that make it just as perfect for brunch as it is for an afternoon treat. I highly recommend the FRENCH ONION SOUP if you’re in the mood for something rich, comforting, and full of flavour
.
If you’re looking for something more filling, their SANDWICHES are made on the most incredible baguettes—perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Every bite reminded me of my time in Paris, strolling down the street with a fresh sandwich in my hand 🥖
.
We also tried a couple of drinks from their Summer menu. The CREAMSICLE TEA LATTE and the PARISIAN FOG were both delicious, flavourful, and the perfect complement to a leisurely afternoon
.
Don’t miss their hidden secret garden patio tucked away behind the shop. It’s peaceful, charming, and feels like a little escape to the French countryside right here in the Fraser Valley 🌳
