Hi, this is Gustavo @gustavominas taking over, sharing some of my favorite Brazilian photographers. Today I'm happy to present some work by my good friend, Gustavo, also from Minas Gerais, @marangotuss. The colors in his photos are pure joy, and his work often features a mix of poetry, complexity and unsolved visual problems that I love.
.
"Hello, I’m Gustavo Marangotus. I view the street as a laboratory for creating images and narratives. Guided by the motto "I carry photography as my companion," wherever I walk, I shoot guided by the colors, light, and scenes that satisfy me poetically. Beyond creating images, I see street photography as a lifestyle. Street photography is an important tool in building the social memory of a time, places, and people—after all, we are creating images that can last through the years and might otherwise go unnoticed without our photographer's eye. I believe in the power of photography as a form of expression, whether in the field of information or the arts." by @marangotuss
