At Artel Gallery featuring member’s show/ “ your Favorite artist ! “ I have submitted a take off of David Hockney painting style . I’ve always loved his work depicting the English countryside / it’s simplistic and colorful! Sadly Hockney passed away this week and the news was heart breaking !Whenever you delve into another artists style, you learn so much - about how they use their style, colors and subject matter. It’s very informative and gives you an in depth , personal view of who they are and the techniques they use to draw the viewer in.
Hockney will be sorely missed!
If you happen to be in Pensacola, FL. Check out Artel and get a closer look at Hockney’s style … Hope you enjoy Artel- always unique and surprisingly avant guard ! by @maravee123

Current show @ Artel Gallery is the members show - “artists you should know! “
My submission - a rendering of my take off of David Hockney’s paintings of the English Country side! Ironically Hockney has just passed away and it saddens me greatly.
When you study an artist and learn about his passion, his technique, you get to know him on a more personal level ! Please stop by Artel Gallery and check out my personal view of Hockney’s work . May he rest in peace. by @maravee123

What a cool idea! Sketch books and sketch book drawing is a big reveal which often leads to imaginative thinking and creating!
A great view of the artist’s perspective of the world in a concise, artistic way ! Some are humorous , serious, in your face honest and intriguing ! Come check the display @ Rad Rendezvous - where many artists are housed together with individual studios next to Radical Hotel where it’s always fun to relax with a coffee, afternoon tea or a cocktail at the roof top -Roberts Street! Check out Studio M - Pam Miller and Mara Viksnins have added new work for your viewing pleasure! You might even find them sketching away! by @maravee123
