We need to do more about AI and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). I know, because I lived through a similar nightmare. My latest for @guardian_us. by @marawilson

I give you: CAMEOS RUINED BY CATS! So adorable, and so annoying when I’m filming. BUT! If you’d like to get a Cameo from me, with or without an annoying cat, LINK IN BIO! I’d love to make a video for you. 😻 by @marawilson

Matilda 30th Anniversary Celebration at Royal Albert Hall in London! Five thousand Matilda fans! I still cannot believe it! What a joy to celebrate with people who mean so much to me, with whom I share so many wonderful memories. Jaki, Kiami, Pam, Kira, David Newman, and of course, Uncle Danny, I love you all. by @marawilson

Thank you so much @barnesandnoble for naming #FabulousBodies one of the BEST AUDIOBOOKS OF 2026! It was a joy to record, and I am so glad other people are loving it as much as I did!

Also, I’m sorry for the havoc I wrought in your stores when I was a teenager. 😳 by @marawilson

I LOVED going to the #RareImpactFundbenefit last night! I went with my old friend Ali, and got to see another old friend, Martin Short! There were amazing performances, and I got to talk about how important mental health is to me, talk to some awesome people, and eat some really amazing chocolate chip cookies and desserts with Tajin (both of which are my weaknesses). by @marawilson

What a wonderful way to celebrate ONCE UPON A TRAINWRECK! Christy Carlson Romano and Mara Wilson brought lots of laughs and honest conversation to a packed house for such a special evening!

WHAT A NIGHT! Thank you, everyone who came to Good Story, Good Story! At The Elysian! @thedavidcrabb told a heartbreaking and funny story about family, and the stories we tell about and to them; @thebiglissa sang about Wild Females and was a huge hit; @rekha_s did a hilarious piece about her biggest enemy, which also happens to be a part of her anatomy; as @bandwaveband Bandwave sat above us and played gorgeous, sometimes sweet and sometimes bittersweet, songs all night long.

I hope this is the first of many shows! Telling stories was my first love, and getting to share them with an audience is an honor and a privilege. by @marawilson

Come out to the Elysian tomorrow for a coupla toons and good stories. by @marawilson

So much of the heartbeat of On the Street Where You Live is noticing small things.

Kathryn asked @marawilson what she tends to notice, and the answer was smell, hot concrete on a summer afternoon that took her back to swimming lessons as a kid.

Mara is one of the voices in the full-cast audiobook, out now from Simon & Schuster Audio. From a recent Live inside the Village of Nothing Much community by @marawilson
