You know you live in wine country when you get a commission for spittoons! I made for these beauties @marbesowine! by @marbesowine

The challenge for independent wineries isn't simply producing a good bottle. It's finding the right place for it in a competitive retail market.

Retailers have to build ranges that work across different price points, customer preferences and occasions. For a smaller producer, being distinctive matters, but so does giving the trade a clear reason to list the wine and confidence that it will deliver.

That makes understanding your product's strengths, perceived value and presentation an important part of preparing for the U.S. market.

USA Wine Ratings offers an independent assessment through the lens of Quality, Value and Packaging, along with detailed feedback to help producers understand how their wines perform across these criteria.

Super Early Bird entries for 2027 are now open. Enter at the lowest price. Link in bio.

My sparkling Chenin Blanc was bottled at the beginning of Fall Equinox Sept. 22nd @ 8:05pm!

What a night we had! I couldn’t have done it without my lovely crew, Colin & Daniel. Such good vibes, laughter and a few Magic Hours consumed along the way.

My dream is now bottled and my heart couldn’t be happier this morning! 💞💞✨✨ by @marbesowine

Last week we brought in the Grüner for our beloved Magic Hour Orange. 50% of the blend.

🍊 The Grüner was ready to go however the Vermentino from the same site still has a bit to go!

Hopefully not long after this 100+ degree weather we are experiencing this week! 🥵🥵 by @marbesowine

Ever since we started Marbeso, I (Hannah) have dreamt of making a sparkling.

Dreams are becoming reality today as I am pressing off these gorgeous grapes. ✨✨

I can’t wait to share this wine with you all fairly soon! by @marbesowine

HARVEST ‘26. What a vintage! We’ve been like little Keebler elves working magic behind the scenes for the past month. Since it’s now September, we thought we would share what we’ve been up to so far!

First in was our RAG Chardonnay from the SLO coast. Acids ⚡️⚡️ by @marbesowine

The next iteration of our Fishbowl Artist + Winemaker Dinner has arrived! Join us on Tuesday, August 25th, at 7pm for a four course seafood extravaganza.

Inspired by San Diego artist Andrew Alacasid’s homage to his Filipino/Asian heritage and growing up going to Asian supermarkets and restaurants, this meal showcases San Diego seafood at its summer best.

Each course is thoughtfully paired with the wines of MarBeso, a family owned Santa Barbara County winemaker that focuses on sourcing grapes with proximity to the sea.

Dine and with the artist and winemaker Hannah McNany, and learn more about their crafts as we bid farewell to Andrew’s incredible gallery showcase. Seats are limited! We hope to see you there :) Link in the bio!

Ps. Andrew will be setting up outside Fishbowl at 4pm to sell some additional pieces! Be sure to swing by! 👀 by @marbesowine

I eat sushi for dinner at least once a week. Sometimes I go out, but more often I order in. One of the advantages of eating sushi at home is that I get to choose the wine pairing. This week, I reached for a red wine. I know Pinot Noir, especially one that is fresh, savory, and bright can work beautifully with sushi, and the @marbesowine 2023 Williams Ranch Pinot Noir from the Santa Cruz Mountains proved exactly that. Elegant, energetic, and quietly complex, it is the Please The Palate wine of the week. Read the full story #linkinbio
