Kids are a big part of Barcelona.

It’s part of its charm, they own a part of the streets too, and they have their own lives.

Same for dogs, they’re allowed to play and run free.

Same as everyone here, actually. Great people built this place.

Scotland, West Coast
Stop 4/4 - Assynt Coigach, North West
Mile 60-65 (ish, from what I remember...)

Took me a while to post this, but it’s almost a year since I visited Scotland and I’m badly getting the itch to get back there, this time probably in milder weather (even though I was blessed the last 3 days.)

This hike was something different, and this region of Scotland is truly nothing but jaw dropping.
It’s a vast, open expanse peppered with lonesome farms and isolated villages.
This was the first and only time on the trip I saw Eagles, soaring above the valley like hanggliders.

It just doesn’t feel like you are still on the British isles if you grew up in Manchester and only ever saw relatively flat rolling hills when you got out of the city.

As soon as I got over the ridge and saw Suilven in the distance, the landscape opened up. I could just imagine Diplodocus and Wooly Mammoths plodding across the land. Not sure if they ever did, but they would have looked absolutely perfect next to those mountains.
