Hey guys what’s going on? Marc Bessiake here.

I am the CEO and Founder of a videography and photography company 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧.

𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 mission is to take the vision of the client, translating their vision into art. Where they can feel the emotion of what is being communicated.

From a young age I knew I wanted to do something related to film when I saw the movie the prince of Egypt for the very first time. I was in love with all things animation. I thought I would hone in on creating animation until one day, I started getting paid for creating videos.

I believe what makes me stand out from other videographers is my background. My background has everything to do with the different styles I communicate in my work. I have an animated visuals effect background, music, poetry, theatre and my experience from working with churches. I use all these styles to create and communicate something. There’s definitely a poetic timing to the things I create.

What keeps me inspired? There’s a saying I live by from Chuck Jones. “𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦” anything outside of film…LIFE can be used inside of film. Living and doing life with, or witnessing others do life is enough to tell a story.

Every year during @butterartfair I get the pleasure of curating one of my favorite parties of the year — and @meltdanceparty is back.

Real ones remember. We’ve melted The Vogue, City Market, The Walker and Fountain Square Theatre — every year a new room, same energy. This year we’re taking over @tinkerhouseevents , and we’re going bigger: two rooms, all night.

Upstairs is DEEP SPACE — hip-hop, R&B, funk, and disco ‘til the lights come up. Downstairs is HOMEWORLD — Afrobeats and Black world music, straight diaspora. Six DJs across both floors. You already know I’ll be locked in.

The Paddock was never just about motorsports.
