POV: you found the corner of instagram where fictional men are taken VERY seriously. 📚🎀
Hi, I’m Marce! ♡
I’m the girl who says “I’ll only read one chapter” and suddenly it’s 2AM.
This little corner is for books, romance, journaling, little life moments, and all the feelings that come with being a reader.
Expect:
📚 books I can’t stop thinking about
🎀 fictional crushes & questionable standards
📝 reading journals & annotations
☕ little moments worth romanticizing
💌 and probably way too many opinions about fictional characters
So… if you’re a reader too, let’s be friends! .

Tell me what’s the ONE thing that immediately tells me you’re a reader? 👀

And if this feels like your kind of corner, stay for the next chapter. 🤍

sit down. breathe. laugh with your friends. the book can wait 🌅🤍

even the girl who packed more books than swimsuits closed her kindle for this one. some chapters you read, and some you live with your people.

who’s the friend you’d thank in the acknowledgments? tag her 👇🏼

POV: you packed more books than swimsuits 🌊📚

priorities: sorted. sunscreen, my kindle and 6 books for a 6 day trip, because what if I finish one on the first afternoon?

currently reading: Cowboy Casual by Holly Renne and the sound of the waves is not helping me put it down

how many books do you pack for a trip? be honest 👇🏼

Because my TBR pile isn’t just a list—it’s an entire ecosystem. 📚✨

Buying books and reading books are two completely different hobbies, and I’m currently thriving in both.

💬 Be honest: how many unread books are currently sitting on your shelves? 👇

4 lines that found me at the exact right moment 🔖

some lines you read and forget. these ones moved in.

1. Julia Song Is Undateable by Susan Lee: a reminder that you’re so much more than the label people give you.

2. Fallen Rook by L.J. Shen: a vulnerable moment that changed what bravery means to me.

3. God of Fury by Rina Kent: the moment he realizes he loves him more than he loves himself.

4. The Silent Waters by Brittainy Cherry: about the power of books and how they always leave something behind in us.

which one would you tattoo? 1, 2, 3 or 4 👇🏼
save this for the day you need one of them, and send #1 to the friend who forgets how much she’s worth 💌

no because how does ashley poston write men that love with their whole entire soul like this? 😭😭✨
this quote literally lives rent-free in my head 24/7. there’s something about the “i would find you and choose you in every universe” trope that just completely ruins real life men for me. like… excuse me while i go cry into my pillow and re-read this chapter for the hundredth time. 🫠📖

💬what’s that ONE book quote that lives in your head completely rent-free?✨

is it a reading slump or am i just reading the wrong book? 🫠📖 weekly reading wrap-up! 💫 Julia Song Is Undeniable was hands down my favorite read of the week—it flew by so fast and I’m completely obsessed. 💖

on the other hand… Half City is currently testing my patience 😭 i’m trying so hard to connect with the story, but it’s feeling like a total struggle. please tell me it gets better?! 🕯️

tell me: what was your absolute best (or worst) read this week? help me decide if i should push through Half City or DNF it! 👇🏼✨#bookstagram #weeklyreading #moodreader #juliasongisundeniable #halfcity by @marceinletters

✨ I’m currently reading Half City by Kate Golden and Cowboy Casual by Holly Reneé

I loved Julia Song in Undateable by Susan Lee. It was a book where not only romance is present, but also the pressure—often self-inflicted—to be a certain way, to measure our successes and worth by others’ standards, to be enough for our family and for what ‘we think they want,’ and above all, to self-sabotage out of fear: fear of failing, fear of not being enough, fear of being too much.

This book stirred up so many of those things inside me and, at the same time, made me so happy for Julia and Tae. They worked on becoming their best versions for themselves and then for each other. Great book, I hope to read more from her
