What a beautiful ending to the last request my parents had before they passed. Although my Dad passed 5 years ago just on the 4th of this week and his wish was to be scattered in the tweed at Peebles as this is where he spent more than half his life from a young age little did I comprehend that by waiting to scatter him due to not being able to bring myself to do it.. the letting go part.. by waiting I would also be scattering my mum with him. So with today I for once forgot about the ugly part of grieving two people I love and remembered the complete hole hearted love they had for each other. And am so lucky for getting to watch and be part of their story until the very end. Realising today how blessed I am to have had such amazing parents and how who they where has completely shaped who I am.. it’s my mums 1 year anniversary today and don’t think it could have been spent in any better way. Not to mention also how incredible my son is I used to have one man in my life that never let me down which was my dad now I have two my complete rock ❤️ by @marcellalarose

Happy heavenly birthday to my mum first one without you..would like to say it will be the hardest but it won’t be. I will carry not just you but both of you always and forever in my heart and I am proud to have had such great parents ❤️.. hope my dad baked you a cake.
