Lord, thank You for Your mercies and for loving us unconditionally.

If anyone could call us out for every time we’ve fallen short, it’s You. Yet You don’t cover us in guilt. You say, “Come to Me. Lay it all at My feet. It is not in your power, but Mine.”

This world tells us to work more, do more, and feel guilty when we can’t do it all.

Man keeps score and keeps moving the goalpost, making us believe we’re never enough.

BUT THIS IS NOT YOUR HEART.

When we lose sight of Your nature and place it on people, we can become trapped in a destructive cycle of performance and approval.

These are not Your ways.

Holy Spirit, open our eyes. Help us discern God’s will and build our confidence around who God says we are.

People can be fickle. We refuse to let our desire for acceptance become a chain.

God, we give You and You alone control of our minds, our will, our focus, and our future.

When we lose focus, remind us of our purpose, our mission, and why we are here.

Thank You, Lord. It is so. 🙏

Señor, gracias por Tus misericordias y por amarnos incondicionalmente.

Si alguien pudiera señalarnos cada vez que hemos fallado, eres Tú. Sin embargo, no nos cubres de culpa. Tú dices: “Ven a Mí. Ponlo todo a Mis pies. No está en tu poder, sino en el Mío”.

Este mundo nos dice que trabajemos más, hagamos más y nos sintamos culpables cuando no podemos hacerlo todo.

El hombre lleva la cuenta y sigue cambiando la meta, haciéndonos creer que nunca somos suficientes.

PERO ESTE NO ES TU CORAZÓN.

Cuando perdemos de vista Tu naturaleza y la atribuimos a las personas, podemos quedar atrapados en un ciclo destructivo de rendimiento y aprobación.

Estos no son Tus caminos.

Espíritu Santo, abre nuestros ojos. Ayúdanos a discernir la voluntad de Dios y a construir nuestra confianza alrededor de quién dice Dios que somos.

Las personas pueden ser cambiantes. Nos negamos a permitir que nuestro deseo de aceptación se convierta en una cadena.

Dios, te damos a Ti y solo a Ti el control de nuestra mente, nuestra voluntad, nuestro enfoque y nuestro futuro.

Cuando perdamos el enfoque, recuérdanos nuestro propósito, nuestra misión y por qué estamos aquí.

31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

7 Therefore do not be partners with them.8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Thank you to everyone who came to visit my parents this week. My boys “Grandma, why is your fridge always so full?” We saw first hand how she has a whole village here to support her and my dad. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭

Even though we’re 4 hours away; in our 4 trips down in the past 3 weeks, we saw my Tia Diana, Tia Sandra, Tio Jesse, Cousin Dina Layne Finch, Cousin Rachel Cardenas Sanchez, bring them food, most, more than once. 🫶🥹

Not to mention the ones we didn’t see. Before I moved away, we lived down the street and I used to walk my lawnmower down the street for 15 years every 2 weeks to cut their yard. I used to watch the football games with my Dad cause Loop has never cared for football. [it was a difficult transition for us 🥺]

Last night my boys took care of her yard and we helped trim their trees. It’s been too long.

I want to thank everyone who has stepped up to help my parents in any way. You didn’t have to, but you did. Whether your support was through prayers, encouragement, financial, transportation, or nourishment, or anything else.. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS.

Even though we can’t be with my parents everyday, I’m overwhelmed with Love & gratitude for our family who never hesitates to step in, in a time of need. We love and appreciate y’all so much.
