October Series: 3 out of 7🍂

Moving on to track number 3 from the challenge you voted for! Today, we’re switching up the mood with a super cool vibe:

Lotus Blossom is a timeless jazz masterpiece composed by the legendary trumpeter Kenny Dorham and released in 1960 on his iconic album, Quiet Kenny.
This hard bop gem is famous for its hypnotic Afro-Cuban intro that seamlessly shifts into a classic, driving swing rhythm. It is the ultimate track if you love smooth, elegant, and sophisticated 1960s jazz.

October Series: 2 out of 7🍂

Moving on to track number 2 from the challenge you voted for! Today, we’re switching up the mood with a super cool vibe: Tangerine, inspired by the unmistakable style of Chet Baker.

Chet was famous for his smooth trumpet playing and beautiful, soft voice. He brought a very relaxed, cool jazz vibe to this song. Tangerine started as a big band song in the 1940s, but Chet made it sound very easy, light, and perfect for autumn.

“I Remember Clifford” hits deep every single time. Written by Benny Golson as a tribute to the legendary trumpet player Clifford Brown, who tragically passed away at just 25. 🎺🕊️

Playing this masterpiece is always an emotional journey. I tried to capture that raw nostalgia and pouring my soul into every note.

Listen until the end and let me know how it makes you feel. 👇

Finger facility and ear training on another level. 🎺🧠

Deep in the woodshed with Bobby Shew’s jazz patterns. These exercises are the ultimate tool to expand your harmonic hearing without constantly staring at written chord changes.

Connecting the inner voice directly to the valves. Let’s get it!
