This is the little path to our prayer hut on our Iris base in Pemba Mozambique. The hours spent in this place have marked me. No comfy carpet or air conditioning, just dirt, concrete, & a breeze blowing. It is a place of recalibration for me.

Sunrises and sunsets to me are the intentionality of God to remind us that he is here, he’s with us, and he will be with us again tomorrow.

The spiritual climate has changed.

I have already heard crazy stories of people whose hearts have been closed to God for years, suddenly shifting. People whose ideologies have been against God, suddenly shifting.

This was church this morning.

If you have been wondering what you are feeling, why you are feeling things so deeply, it is because this is bigger than Charlie Kirk.

This isnt political, it’s spiritual.

So the question is what is God doing in all of this? He’s not silent. He’s not confused. He’s not afraid of darkness.

He’s inviting all searching hearts to find their home in Him.

He’s calling people back to their faith.

Just show up. He will meet you right where you are. by @marcifish

Our new precious little love.💝
Elsie Hope
After 3 1/2 years in the adoption process, Andrew & Emily got the call & Elsie was home in 24 hours! We honor her precious birth mom who made the brave choice to have her.

I didn’t know what it would feel like to adopt. It feels like Elsie has always been part of our family. God had Andrew & Emily wait for her. Not knowing what the story would be, they waited.. for such a time as this…for Elsie Hope.

Hard to find words from my trip to the flood zone. Long road ahead but His mercies are new every morning.

I have never seen so much love being poured out. Neighbor to neighbor, Texan to Texan, teams from other states, & even our friends from Israel were arriving to help with search & rescue. It was just stunning.

Everyone is in some level of shock. Including our team. To see how high & wide the river rose at an unreal pace was overwhelming. One person on our team said, it was a violent event. I think that word describes it.

Heartbreaking stories, crazy stories of survival. Resilience, love, & hope rising in the rubble.

I am honored to have any small part in just being present, helping, loving, listening to people share their painful stories, process their trauma, take a step towards hope.

His mercies are new every morning.
