Very blessed and grateful for the chance to compete at my first westerns to cap off this training year. Thank you to coach @wendigo.kg for getting me ready for the day and handling me this meet and to the team @wendigobarbell for the meet day hype.

Thank you to all the friends and family back home who supported and kept me motivated.

Shoutout to all the other 93 lifters especially from YEG it was a pleasure lifting with all of you guys @a_piracha23 @hwebster.pl @kierenthefatass @pascualperformance @gui.lfts

Came out and did what I could, very pleased with the outcome. Can’t wait to build upon this and blow 700keys out the water. Upwards and onwards. by @marcliftstone

John competed in his first powerlifting competition this weekend. Had a frustrating prep dealing with some injuries, on top of balancing his busy work schedule and life but he did what was asked, and persevered through. Did the work that needed to be done, showed up calm and collected and executed the plan to achieve a perfect meet while setting some all time PRs!Doing this at 52 John is an inspiration to myself and everyone over at @vo2maxhp

Thank you for your trust during this time, we have plenty of room to grow in this sport of powerlifting together🙏🏽 This is only the beginning.
