Devo Time: MAKE TIME FOR GOD ⏰🤍 📖 Matthew 6:33 We make time for what matters to us. Our schedules can become filled with work, family, responsibilities, relationships, ministry, social media, and everything else demanding our attention. And sometimes without realizing it, God gets whatever time is left over. But Jesus says: “Seek FIRST His kingdom.” Not after everything is finished. Not only when we need something. Not only when life becomes difficult. First. Making time for God isn’t about checking prayer or Bible reading off a list. It’s about relationship. God desires our attention, our hearts, and our presence. Sometimes we say, “I don’t have time,” when what we really need to ask is: “What have I been making time for?” Even Jesus intentionally withdrew from the crowds to spend time with the Father. If we’re constantly pouring out but never sitting in His presence, eventually we’re trying to live from our own strength. KEY POINTS: • Seek God before seeking everything else. • Don’t give God only what’s left of your day. • Making time for God is about relationship, not religious performance. • Your schedule can reveal your priorities. • Spending time with God helps align our desires with His. • We don’t seek God merely for what He can give us—we seek Him because He is worthy. ✨ Don’t try to fit God into your schedule. Build your life around His presence. #urbanmissionaryproject #SeekGodFirst #TimeWithGod #GodsPresence #PutGodFirst by @marco_huape

Devo Time: GET OUT OF THE BOAT 🌊 Matthew 14:22–33 Peter saw Jesus walking on the water and said, “Lord, if it’s you… tell me to come to you on the water.” And Jesus gave him one word: “Come.” Peter had a choice. Stay in the boat where it felt safe—or step out and trust the One calling him. Sometimes following Jesus requires us to get out of the boat. The boat can represent what feels comfortable. What feels familiar. What we can control. What makes sense to us. But faith sometimes requires stepping beyond what we can control because we trust Who called us. Peter didn’t walk on water because he was powerful. He walked because Jesus called him. But then Peter began looking at the wind. He saw the waves. He felt the storm. Fear entered. And he began to sink. Isn’t that sometimes what happens to us? God calls us forward, we’re excited and full of faith—and then we start looking around. “What if I fail?” “What if this doesn’t work?” “What are people going to think?” “What if I heard God wrong?” “What if I can’t do this?” Suddenly, the storm becomes bigger in our minds than the One standing in front of us. But I love what happens next. Peter cries: “Lord, save me!” And Jesus immediately reaches out His hand. Even when Peter’s faith became weak, Jesus was still there. Getting out of the boat doesn’t mean you won’t experience fear. It means you choose to trust Jesus enough to take the step He’s actually calling you to take. And notice—Peter didn’t randomly jump into the water. He waited for Jesus to say, “Come.” Faith isn’t recklessness. Faith is obedience to the voice of Jesus. KEY POINTS: • Don’t allow comfort to keep you from obedience. • Make sure Jesus is the One calling you before you step. • Faith sometimes requires leaving what feels familiar. ✨ You don’t need to know how you’re going to walk on the water—you need to know the One who told you to come. #urbanmissionaryproject #EyesOnJesus #TrustJesus #FaithOverFear #Obedience by @marco_huape

Devo Time: TRANSFORM YOUR MIND ✨ Romans 12:2 We cannot expect to understand the will of God while allowing the world to continually shape the way we think. The world will tell us what is good. Culture will tell us what is acceptable. Our feelings will tell us what seems right. But God’s Word reveals what is good, what is acceptable, and what is perfect. That’s why renewing our minds matters. Transformation begins when we stop allowing culture, emotions, past experiences, and other people’s opinions to have the loudest voice—and begin allowing God’s truth to reshape the way we think. The more our minds are renewed by His Word, the more we’re able to test and discern what truly aligns with His will. Before asking, “What feels right to me?” Ask, “What does God’s Word say?” Before asking, “What does everyone else think?” Ask, “Does this align with the character and truth of God?” We will struggle to recognize God’s will if our minds are constantly being formed by everything except His truth. 📌 KEY POINTS: • Don’t conform—be transformed. • Transformation begins with the renewing of your mind. • God’s Word becomes the standard, not culture. • A renewed mind helps us test and discern what aligns with God’s will. • God’s will is good, pleasing, and perfect. • The more we know His Word, the better equipped we are to recognize what reflects His truth. ✨ If we want to recognize the will of God, we must allow the Word of God to renew the way we think. #urbanmissionaryproject #TransformYourMind #RenewYourMind #GodsWill #WordOfGod by @marco_huape
Devo Time: FAITH BEFORE SIGHT !! Hebrews 11:1 Faith isn’t trusting God only when we can see how everything is going to work out. Faith is trusting Him when we can’t. It’s believing God is still working when nothing seems to be changing. It’s obeying when we don’t know the outcome. It’s continuing to pray when the answer hasn’t come. It’s taking the next step when we can’t see the entire path. Sometimes we ask God to show us everything before we’re willing to move. But faith often requires us to move because we know who God is, not because we know what will happen next. We don’t place our confidence in circumstances. We place our confidence in the character of God. If He said it, we can trust Him. If He leads, we can follow. If He asks us to wait, we can wait. You don’t need to see the whole picture to trust the One who does. Ask Yourself : • Am I waiting to see before I’m willing to believe? • Where is God asking me to trust Him without knowing the outcome? ✨ Faith doesn’t need to see the whole road—it just needs to know who is leading. #urbanmissionaryproject #FaithOverFear #TrustHisPlan #FaithBeforeSight by @marco_huape
Devo Time: WHAT WE DO MATTERS !! Luke 9:23 Following Jesus is more than saying we believe in Him. It is a daily decision to live like we belong to Him. What we do matters. How we treat people matters. What we do when nobody is watching matters. How we respond when we’re hurt matters. What we choose to surrender matters. Our obedience matters. Jesus didn’t say, “Take up your cross once.” He said daily. Every day, we are given opportunities to choose His way over our own—to forgive when we’d rather hold onto offense, to love when it’s difficult, to obey when it’s uncomfortable, and to surrender when we’d rather stay in control. We aren’t saved because of our good works; we are saved by grace through faith. But a life that has truly encountered Jesus should begin to look different. Following Christ will cost us something. Sometimes it’s our comfort. Sometimes it’s our pride. Sometimes it’s our plans. Sometimes it’s letting go of something we desperately want. But whatever we lay down for Jesus can never compare to the life we find in Him. Ask Yourself : • Does the way I live reflect the Jesus I say I follow? • What is Jesus asking me to deny or surrender today? ✨ Following Jesus isn’t only something we believe—it’s a life we choose to live daily. What we do matters. #urbanmissionaryproject #FollowJesus #TakeUpYourCross #DailySurrender #Obedience by @marco_huape
Devo Time: TRUST BEYOND UNDERSTANDING 🔥 Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Trusting God isn’t always easy—especially when life doesn’t make sense. There are moments when our plans fall apart, prayers seem unanswered, and the path ahead feels uncertain. But faith isn’t built on having all the answers. Faith is built on knowing the One who does. Proverbs 3:5 reminds us that trusting God means surrendering our need to understand everything. Our perspective is limited, but God’s is eternal. He sees the beginning, the middle, and the end all at once. Sometimes what feels like a setback is actually God’s protection. Sometimes what feels like a delay is God’s preparation. Sometimes what feels confusing today will become tomorrow’s testimony. When we stop leaning on our own understanding, we make room for God to lead us according to His perfect wisdom. Trust isn’t the absence of questions—it’s choosing to believe God even when the answers haven’t come yet. Ask Yourself : • Is there an area of my life where I’m relying more on my own understanding than on God? • What is keeping me from trusting the Lord completely? • How has God proven His faithfulness in my past? • What would it look like to surrender my plans to Him today? • Am I willing to trust God’s character even when I don’t understand His ways? ✨ Faith begins where the need to have everything figured out ends. Trust the One who sees what you cannot. #urbanmissionaryproject #TrustInTheLord #WalkByFaith #FaithOverFear #TrustHisPlan by @marco_huape
You gotta start, if God said it He will do it. But you gotta start somewhere. Obey Him even if you don’t know the next step. In the good, the bad and the ugly, God never left us. Stay obedient, cuz you will see His plan unfold before your eyes. 🙌🏼😭. #followjesus #revival #godisgood by @marco_huape
