A sound sample of my new @crios_guitars Fusion 4 headless bass. It blows my mind every day how good this instrument is. In combination with the fantastic @nordstrandaudio Dual Coil pickups, it’s simply unbeatable. Here both pickups are set in single coil mode.

Over the past few weeks, this instrument has become an extension of myself. I’ve been playing for a little over two decades now, and I wasn’t ready to feel such a big step up. It pushes the boundaries of my playing, and I feel free to express myself fully like never before. And playing it on stage feels so good!

I’ve owned and tested so many great basses in my life. This one is surely among the absolute best. I’ve sold a couple of old basses and ordered a second Crios Fusion 4 with some very cool specs. Stay tuned.

US tour is over! Now comes Mexico!!!

We played 28 shows in 30 days! This adventure has been amazing. We want to thank everyone who came out to discover a new band from across the Atlantic! New fans, new friends, and great memories. We’ll be back!

Marco and @crios_guitars : a collaboration built around touring, sound and craftsmanship. Currently on a heavy duty on our US tour!

"My collaboration with Crios has been one of my personal highlights of this year. Three basses, each built for a specific part of my work as a musician.
I first contacted Fabian from Crios on the recommendation of Nate from Pollen. I was looking for a headless bass for fly-in shows: lightweight, stable, and compact enough to fit in a guitar case and avoid the extra costs and logistics of travelling with a traditional bass.
A few weeks later, the first Crios arrived. I was immediately impressed by the instrument, and it quickly became my main bass. I ended up selling a couple of my other basses and ordering two more Crios to cover my touring and studio needs.
After around 80 shows playing these instruments exclusively, I can say they have given me an amazing time on stage and rehearsals. The headless design keeps them light and travel-friendly, the slight multiscale makes them comfortable to play while keeping the tuning consistent, and the passive setup with two Nordstrand Audio dual-coil pickups offers a wide range of sounds.
The build quality is excellent, and there is also something special about having them built by Fabian, just an hour from my home in Switzerland.

Crios 5 — Roasted figured maple “Choco” finish top, roasted “Choco” finish neck, ebony fingerboard

Crios 4 — Amber Ash top, roasted maple neck, Pau Ferro fingerboard

All three are equipped with Nordstrand Audio dual-coil pickups.

Last week, I've played my 1000th gig!

To everyone I've met on the road and shared good vibes, music, and emotions with : thank you from the bottom of my heart.

What a journey. Playing bass, chasing adventures, and doing it all alongside my best friends, Stavros and Maxime. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Now... let's make it 1000 more.
