Five children, one plane tree, and a little girl who stopped everything to ask me: “Come ti chiami?” 💙
We shot The Secret Life of Plants in the park of Villa Sorra, near Modena, a 19th-century romantic garden that many consider the most important of its kind in Emilia-Romagna. What surprised me most was how curious the children were about the trees. They found berries and came to show them to me. Ryan wanted to climb before we’d even started. And Maria, after asking my name, told me she liked my hair.
A few ideas from the shoot to try with your own kids:
🌿 A classic dress with cowboy boots
🌿 A ceremony dress with sneakers
🌿 Mix prints, but keep them in the same colour tone
🌿 This season’s must-have is cow print, on trousers, jackets or shoes. I paired cow-print jeans with an elegant blouse (swipe to the end)
What makes a good kids’ fashion story? The children have fun, they love the clothes, and we get amazing pictures. In that order.
