Pics by the incomparable @nat_ografa
My dear honey N 🖤
Love u muchh💘

Anatomy of me
"And the category is.."

In this video art piece, artist Marco Di Nola, directed by Fabrizio Fiore, confronts a deeply personal experience: homophobic bullying. The performance, a powerful autobiographical act, brings back to the stage the violence and abuse endured during his school years.

The video shows the artist applying makeup, a gesture that affirms his identity and freedom of expression. Yet the scene is constantly interrupted by hands and arms emerging from his own figure, attempting to remove that makeup, to suffocate his essence. These hands symbolize both external aggressors and the internal conflict—the struggle between the desire to be oneself and the fear of not being accepted.

Despite this opposition, the act of applying makeup repeats itself, stubborn and resolute. The work thus becomes a hymn to resilience and to the determination not to suppress one’s identity, no matter what happens. taken in Torino,Italy by @marcodinola83
