If, 44 years later, I could say one thing to this little version of me, it would be this:

Bookstores are precious in themselves.
In this case, it’s a bookstore with a view of Notre-Dame, so even better.
An old bookstore, so even better than better.
A bookstore with a daily line of at least an hour, better again, and perhaps proof that there is still hope in the world.

Once inside, you’re immersed in a timeless atmosphere, almost impossible to put into words.
A place where books are the true center of everything, where silence, curiosity, and the desire to discover quietly coexist.
It feels completely detached from the outside world, untouched by the rush and the madness of the times we’re living in.
A place that doesn’t bend to speed or noise, but instead offers calm.
A balm for the heart.
And something that did me genuinely good. by @marcogram1982
