PANGAEA (Invisible Landscapes) Originary People Edition Foreword by Silvana Nassar (in memoriam) In the interplay of art, literature, and the human spirit, we find bridges that span continents, eras, and imaginations. It is within this vast landscape of creativity that we encounter PANGAEA, a visionary artwork conceived by the Brazilian artist Marcos Saboya. Originally intended for the Tokyo Olympic Games (Cancelled by the Covid-19 safety measures), PANGAEA beckons us into a realm where the fragments of our fractured world yearn for reunion. PANGAEA stands as a testament to unity amidst today's challenges. Amid divisive rhetoric and national isolation, Saboya's creation becomes a beacon of hope, reminding us of our shared humanity and the imperative of peace. Through its design, PANGAEA invites us to reflect on our global community's complexities and envision paths toward reconciliation. In this edition, PANGAEA serves as a platform where the voices, traditions, and landscapes of originary people from all continents converge. From the Saamis of the Arctic to the Brazilian Indigenous, from African tribes to the Mayas and Incas of Central and South America, from the Inuits to the Aboriginal people of Australia, and from the Maoris of New Zealand to the tribes of Polynesian islands—PANGAEA weaves together the rich tapestry of human cultures that have thrived in harmony with nature. Each part of PANGAEA becomes a mirror reflecting the wisdom, resilience, and creativity of these communities. As we journey through these diverse landscapes, we encounter the stories, art, and traditions that have shaped humanity's connection to the Earth. This edition invites us to learn from the guardians of our planet's ancient knowledge and to reflect on our shared responsibility in preserving these cultures and ecosystems. In the grand tapestry of human experience, PANGAEA emerges as a testament to imagination, dialogue, and collective aspiration. As we embark on this journey, may we find solace in knowing we're not alone—that beneath sky and sea, we're all travelers, bound by our shared humanity. by @marcossaboya

The Rupture is an ambitious documentary that makes significant contributions to the conversation around corruption and truth in our society. While its abstract philosophical musings and broad scope may not resonate with all viewers, its attempt to bridge the gap between global corruption and individual responsibility is both bold and necessary. The film challenges viewers to look beyond the headlines and consider the everyday ethical compromises we all make, whether we realize it or not.
