SNEAK PEEK ALERT!!!

Weekend well spent! 🎶 In less than a week, I built my dream home studio—a spot to rip on the drums, work on songs, and, yes, create *content* 🥁. It’s probably the coolest jam spot I’ve ever had. 🙌🏻

I LOVE having a place to rehearse, record, and film — electric drums are cool, but there’s nothing like being able to slam a real kit 24/7. What more could I ask for?

Shit happens.

Power blows. In the middle of the event. At a barn wedding.

As wedding entertainers, we’re not just hired to press play and play music. We’re hired to keep the energy up, read the room, solve problems, and make sure the party doesn’t stop when something unexpected happens.

So we adapted, kept the energy alive, and figured it out.

44 seconds without power and then it was right back to the music, the dancing, and enjoying the night.

People ask why they should pay “that much” for a wedding DJ.

And honestly? If you think we’re just there to play music, I understand the question.

Truth? Music is only one part of the job.

- We’re keeping your timeline moving and making sure your day stays on schedule.
- We’re checking in on the bride and groom and making sure you’re actually enjoying your wedding.
- We’re scanning the room for potential issues before they become problems.
- We’re watching for drama, overserved guests, and anything that could derail the night.
- We’re reading the room and adjusting the energy in real time.
- We’re making sure grandma, your college friends, your kids, and everyone in between hears something they want to dance to.
- Whether your wedding is an intimate ceremony in a field or you’ve invited every person you’ve ever met to a banquet hall, everyone is going to hear your vows.

48 hours notice. That’s all I had to learn an entire set list and show up ready to play with @koshadillz, alongside @chicagosbestdj and @thesaxguy, at Gallagher Way at Wrigley Field.

Honestly, I love getting the last-minute call when a drummer is needed. Not because it’s easy, but because people know I’ll show up, learn it, and get it done.

48 hours. Challenge accepted. Set list learned. Showtime. We did that.

Anthony is a fighter. He’s a warrior. He’s one of the strongest people I’ve ever met.

He’s never let his abilities limit what he can accomplish, and on a rainy Saturday morning at the @themidwestocr @thecliffsinsaneterrain event he proved it.

12 obstacles. Different abilities tested. And he absolutely crushed it.

He stomped through knee-deep water, crawled through mud, climbed his way to the top and pushed through every challenge put in front of him.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible family unit, the amazing MOCR coaches (especially @joshenderle!) and the entire crew of athletes who cheered him on, encouraged him and refused to let him quit.

And now? He’s already gearing up for next summer.

Let Anthony remind you that mindset makes a difference. Sometimes you just have to find a way, keep pushing and believe you can.

I may have the heart of a Marine, but Anthony encompasses the passion, strength and determination of a true warrior.

I know I’ve been pretty quiet on social media lately, so here’s a little behind the scenes.

When I’m not behind the decks or drums, I’m behind the scenes building MESSES Entertainment, booking gigs, and keeping our four DJs busy.

I’m also navigating being a bonus dad, making time for family, and being a partner while balancing a career that mostly happens at night and on weekends. Sometimes quality time is dinner in the car between events or a quick kiss backstage before I run out to perform.

Downstait is also doing some BIG things. The next record is almost finished, we have a cruise coming up with some huge names, and I’m recording constantly with 100+ demos waiting to come to life.

The truth is, I’m living a life I dreamed about. I just don’t always have time to post about it because I’m too busy living it.

Maybe I have one complaint.

I’m getting old.

Recovery takes longer, injuries hurt more, and sometimes it’s hard to fully appreciate some of the biggest moments of my career when I’m exhausted or in pain.

But I’m learning to slow down and recognize what I’m actually living.

The music. The shows. The business. The family. The woman I love. The dreams I once wished for.

Life is busy. Messy. Exhausting. Sometimes painful.

But damn...I’m grateful for it.

So if I’ve been quiet, it’s not because nothing is happening.

It’s because a whole lot is.

Anthony Wolf was born a fighter.
30 weeks. 2 lbs. 10 oz. Cerebral palsy. In May 2025, SDR surgery to help him walk.

On Saturday, he conquered the kid's course at Midwest OCR alongside his family.

His family's saying: "The world isn't designed for you, but you are designed for the world." His family doesn't focus on what Anthony can't do, they focus on what he can do and then they watch him push beyond it.

If you have ever looked at our race and thought "I can't do this," I want you to remember Anthony. If he can fight through this, so can you. And like Anthony, you'll have a whole community behind you.💪👊
