“Bahis-bahis”

The Kadayawan Festival is a vibrant annual celebration held in Davao City, Philippines. It showcases the rich cultural heritage, bountiful harvests, and diverse ethnic traditions of the region. The festival includes various events such as street dancing, floral floats, and cultural performances.

“Bahis-bahis” is a term from the Cebuano language. It means “to take a walk” or “to stroll around.” It is used to describe the action of walking around, often for leisure or to pass the time.

Strolling around during the Kadayawan Festival in Poblacion Market Central is all about experiencing the festival’s vibrant and diverse offerings by taking in the sights, sounds, and flavors as you walk around and a delightful way to immerse yourself in the local culture, enjoy a variety of foods, and partake in the vibrant festivities.

🌞 Good morning, Pilipinas! Madayaw, Dabaw! 🦅

The Good Morning Towel has been woven into the fabric of our nation’s culture, from Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao. It follows Filipinos from many walks of life as we go off daily, representing our community’s commitment to hard labor and unity.

Our project for this year’s Kadayawan Festival, titled “Good Morning,” is to honor the hardworking individuals who have helped the Philippines prosper by capturing the true spirit of good mornings. 🌄🤝✨

The lively Kadayawan Festival celebration unites locals and tourists to celebrate the harvest and the various cultural traditions of the city while demonstrating the spirit of cooperation and gratitude among different indigenous tribes.

Step into the tapestry of celebration, where the spirit of hard work and dedication is intricately woven into the essence of every Filipino.
