The difference between caution and fear is fear will keep you paralyzed and you can move forward with caution. We do our best to promote caution and not fear! In the 3rd photo we just returned to land after being stuck in the middle of the ocean for about 15mins because our jet ski lost power. Dom was ready to get out of the water! Lol. The 4th photo is us doing it all over again the next day! Her choice! No issues that day. Thank God. Went out kayaking and did some snorkeling with sea turtles. Shoutout @theaveragechick for pushing through her fears and decided to snorkel too! Last video shows that even if we know it or not, our kids are following in our footsteps! @flyhighdskye always proud of your courage. Dominique’s Broadway journey in @joeturnerbway was extraordinary and it was that much sweeter by all the people who came out to support her and enjoy the play! It is not lost on us that you all spent your money, many of you traveling from out of town; everyone adjusting their schedules to be there for this moment. Our incredible blood family, chosen family, friends (some we haven’t seen in decades), Dom’s comedy, acting, dance, vocal/piano teachers, her besties! We are blessed that both sets of grandparents got to see their grandbaby up on that stage. As we head into Dom’s final performance tonight, we are all reflecting on this incredible, life changing experience. Dom was 9 years old when she auditioned for the role of Zonia in @joeturnerbway and after the first callback, it’s been a journey that is challenging to put into words. We watched @flyhighdskye grow week after week, performance after performance…we watched her push through long days and nights, discover her resilience, rise to the occasion and hold her own on the stage with legends. We are in awe of our child and the ending of the play is without a doubt, bitter sweet. Thank you to everyone who poured into Dom, who encouraged, supported, came to see the play and let her know how special she is. I had the honor of being @flyhighdskye guest to the 2026 Tony Awards. Sounds crazy, right? Let's continue to dream in real life!
