What a fucking day.

AF2026 was one for the history books - every single moment of yesterday felt like pure magic. Thank you all so, so much for bringing this dream to life.

There is loads more to say, and we'll get through all of it over the coming weeks - but for now, please let us know what YOUR favourite moment from yesterday was in the comments 🙏

We'll be announcing dates for 2027 and early bird tickets very soon, stay tuned 👀

In just over 24 hours we will be opening the doors for @attitudefestivaluk 2026 - our 6th festival, and our 2nd sellout year in a row! 🙌

I want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported the evolution of this project with me. What started as an excuse to put on all my favourite new alt-punk bands that nobody seemed to want to book, has turned into a beautiful little cult event with worldwide recognition. We have wedged ourselves firmly within the pipeline of new UK alt talent, and that's an honour I will never take for granted.

Each sellout year means we have enough money to book the next event, pay deposits and cover adverts for the following year. After that, there's about £100 left, and we use that to go out for a nice meal to celebrate another successful year.

Success to me isn't profit, success is in the smiles of the artists and attendees every year who say they had a great time and would love to come back. Success is finding your place in the world - not trying to rule it.

We could quite easily go bigger, but going bigger requires sponsors, partners, funding, bigger artists - all of that equates to one single word; influence. We do not want muddy the purpose of this event, it's connection to the grassroots scene, or the soul that it has created. Not everything needs to keep growing until it implodes on itself. I am proud to say that nobody tells us what to do, and nobody ever will.

Long live Attitude.
Long live @exchangebristol
