MOVE OVER CHEDDAR: THE BEST OF NEW BRITISH CHEESES! 🧀

Wonderful to see The Telegraph celebrating Tuppence from White Lake Cheese, following its victory at The People’s Cheese 2026, organised by The Real Cheese Project at St Mary’s Church, Wendover, in October.

With over 400 votes cast, Tuppence was crowned The People’s Cheese 2026, beating three other outstanding British artisan cheeses.

As I told The Telegraph:

“A sensational cheese and a thoroughly deserved winner. It has an extraordinarily unctuous texture and a stunning natural rind.

I love its versatility: delicious when young, yet equally compelling as it matures and develops beautiful blue moulds. It’s a cheese with real character at every stage of its life.”

James Grant – Founder, The Real Cheese Project

A fantastic recognition for Roger Longman and the team at White Lake Cheese, and another wonderful moment for British artisan cheesemaking!

What an epic event with epic people!
