Thousands of submissions from 59 different countries, and in 2024, there were 12 winners. In 2025, @indiexfest voted and nominated their top 3 of 12 winners for Best of the Year. On June 7th, 2025, @triggeredfanfilm 2.0 was selected as the Best Fantasy Short of the Year.

To take this even farther, this is a part 2 of a short film saga, where part 1 was also voted as Best Fantasy Short of the Year. To give context, there has only been one sequel of a film to ever win the same award for Best Film, as the original, and that was The Godfather. Of course, that's only to reference the rarity of having a part 1 and 2 both be given such a top honor.

To the cast and crew, I want you to know that we did something that's nearly impossible to achieve. Triggered 1 and 2 combined have won 47 awards to date with both having won Best Fantasy Short of the Year. Take a bow! by @marcusneljamalhamm

X-Men 97' season 2 has been a true joy to watch as the same era of comic books that inspired it is what inspired @triggeredfanfilm in episode 5 they revealed the animated variant of Dr Abraham Cornelius who is @ericrobertsactor plays as the first ever live action casting of the evil Weapon X Scientist. As a matter of fact, this season has showcased nearly every character that you will see while we also have several original characters and a few heroes that you have never seen in live action.
