So on 12/10/21 I did a life changing, life enhancing thing.The video makes it clear what I’ve done.I’m sharing because I’m very proud of this moment.Blessed and so very grateful for @jglusa for being a integral part of this new journey.Shout out to @davidweetermin for filming this and more importantly bring my brother and I’m my life.( 😘 to @lweeter for being the balance I need)Some amazing people witnessed this moment and I thank God for each of them.@jt_louvier and his family @brookelouvier ( plus this beautiful children y’all have created) what would my life be without y’all, I done ever want to find out.Thankful for @roc_loves_life a friend for over a decade and wonderful helpful guide in this journey ( love ya sister)Lol I didn’t want to write a book.. Men,May I suggest that we all embrace the true meaning of ‘fellowship’.Yes there is a need to be open and trust that what is said won’t be Weaponized against you.However the enemy loves that fearful thought.So I encourage all of us to reach out anyways, get with a group anyways.. if for no other reason that it makes the enemy miserable and our FATHER smile.The struggle, fight and frustration is not meant to be kept in heart and on shoulders , it’s meant to be shared and burdens offloadedOk that’s it (P.S.I speak on this because I’m at war just like you, I don’t share and I don’t offload burdens. Like you I also feel like I’m drowning in the abyss . The duality of my life …On one side, I am an accomplished teacher of defensive tactics,a public speaker to men, and a published author.On the other side, I’m a 57 year-old man who’s engaged & in search of a “W-2 “job for stability in my upcoming life with my future wife.Regardless of both of those I have one mission and that mission is to walk with Jesus., to Go to all the world and preach the gospel, and if necessary, use words.” (Borrowed quote)To engage with human beings & show the beautiful grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.Now I share all of these things for one purpose. It’s so that the one man, or woman, that sees this while feeling like “I’m lost”,”I’m frustrated”. “I’m confused”, “I’m angry”, “I’m at my wits end and can’t do it anymore”.My dear friend while it does not take any of that away,to hear that “you are not alone”, what I pray does help is that you realize or remember that you have JESUS to run to.Here’s what keeps me from losing my mind. That my Lord and Savior JESUS Christ, the son of GOD has NEVER EVER left me, NEVER EVER abandoned me NEVER forsaken me and ALWAYS has HIS arms open to hug me while disciplining me,pruning me and refining me.🫵🏻 So if you read this far, you’re awesome. A reminder to my fellow man…WE are to Exhort (earnestly advise)remind and stand with those who are complacent ( undisciplined,standing idle) who perhaps due to unhappiness are destructive. WE are to Edify( build up)those that feel the heaviness of the world and are disheartened, WE stand in the gap for those who at this moment and time feel weak, powerless. WE are to be patient (show kindness)with everyone showing the Grace that has been shown to us. This is “leadership” to me. yes, I got this from the Bible.A mission that resonates deeply on my heart, and in my soul is to EDIFY,EXHORT those I am blessed to interact with.Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.1 Thessalonians 5:14 NKJVShameless plug- if you’ve read these words and feel like they would resonate to your Men’s group or with a group you fellowship with.. Gratitude post.Huge shout to @iamjustingoff for putting on the 2026 Endurance Men’s Conference. Thank you for the opportunity and courage in bringing a guy you don’t know to speak at your house of worship.Thank you @gracecitychurch.tv for hosting, feeding us (spiritually and physically)To the speakers I was blessed to share a stage and fellowship with@weeterministries @matt_curtis_417 @kim_ministry @joelrlouis @gobeyondborders I don’t have the words to express how wonderful our time together was.Massive Shout out to the men who had the courage to show up with open ears and hearts.This was my first time speaking at a men’s conference, LORD willing it won’t be my last.A closing verse that is a good reminder for us lol.Ecclesiastes 4:9-12(ampc)9 Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor;10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!11 Again, if two lie down together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone?12 And though a man might prevail against him who is alone, two will withstand him. We need to offload burden..( ND thank you for this)Brothers, fellow men have you ever uttered or thought…“I gotta… ““Be brave ““Have my life together ““Provide for my family ““Be strong ““Be there for my pals ““Do whatever it takes ““Be a warrior ““Be a good example. “There’s so much more of this,Just remember you’re not alone. I am thankful and grateful for everything that has happened in my life, the good , the not so good and the horrific. This aides greatly to forgiveness ( one of the single most important things we men can do for ourselves and those we love)Remember friend, you didn’t come this far just to come this far. You do have purpose you are important and you are doing a good job. I shine light on my own struggles to show the glory and grace of God who gets me through these things and for you to know and to see with your own eyes that you’re not alone cuz and so you know 100% is that with Jesus everything‘s gonna be all right Please, my friend reach out and share the struggles you’re going through with another. It helps more than you’ll ever know. "Offload your burden"We were not created to walk and live alone. We all have gifts. Some embrace them, some run from them. Full transparency, I’ve run from my gift ( never fully embraced, always had imposter syndrome thoughts and feelings) of teaching pretty much from the start. I am no longer running away.. I’m sprinting towards the blessings my gift offers to many.I hope you read this and it sparks.
