Without a doubt the coolest place I’ve ever been.

In 2017 we spent a week on a sailboat exploring the Komodo Islands. One evening we took the dingy to what for us looked like a random shore and trekked barefoot the mountain next to it.

What greeted us at the top was a view I think I’ll never experience ever again. It honestly looked like CGI. And we were completely alone, not a single tourist but a local fisherman who served us dinner on the beach.

Even though I’ve heard this place has gotten massively more popular over the years (and even had to implement restrictions on daily visitors to control the tourism), I’ll be back one day to show this view to my kids.

Sportscar Together Day is always special, but this year might be the best one yet.

After knee surgery last week, I won’t be able to walk or drive for the next few months. And since SCTD is all about sharing the joy of sports cars, what better excuse to put my fiancé behind the wheel of what might just be my favorite car in Porsche’s current line-up: the 911 Carrera T.

Escaping the chaos of the city for two days on the road and a night at our favorite hotel feels like the perfect definition of what SCTD is all about.

Definitely a weekend to remember.
