Some places don’t need much introduction.
Waking up at the edge of the Namib (the oldest desert on Earth) with nothing but silence and sand dunes as far as you can see. This is Sossusvlei Lodge.
A place where the desert doesn’t feel hostile. It feels like home.

🇪🇸 Trabajar con Red Bull fue uno de esos días que no se olvidan. De la mano de @dreambeachmedia junto a @will_nangle y @cecillsbrunells para cubrir el reto de Jonny Davies: cruzar Inglaterra de costa a costa corriendo en el día más largo del año. Editando y entregando contenido desde un van en marcha mientras él corría 140km. Esto es lo que hubo detrás para hacerlo posible.

🇬🇧 Working with Red Bull was one of those days you don’t forget. Teamed up with @dreambeachmedia alongside @will_nangle and @cecillsbrunells to cover Jonny Davies running coast to coast across England on the longest day of the year. Editing and delivering content from a moving van while he ran 140km. This is a look behind the scenes at what it took to make it happen.

I don’t often think of myself as small.

I’m not exactly tall, obviously, but I mean small in a different way.

In Northern Pakistan, I felt it. The kind of small you feel when the mountains around you are so vast that, for a moment, everything else falls into perspective.

The mountains here aren’t scenery. They’re the whole damn thing. They swallow the horizon, make roads look like threads and villages like tiny accidents in an otherwise enormous landscape.

You don’t just look at them. You feel their scale.

And strangely enough, I liked feeling small.

Two weeks. Three filmmakers. One short film.

Long drives, early calls, cold mornings, one too many “one more take” and a lot of chai.
Some of it was work, some of it was just us being idiots in the most beautiful places we’ve ever filmed.

From Hunza to Nangma Valley, Pakistan welcomed us with smiles and a kind of hospitality that’s hard to put into words. Mostly strangers, a few of our own crew, all of them part of the story.

🇬🇧 The blocks light up as the rider crosses the frame. Built in Fusion with Magic Mask.

It works best on a fast shutter. Too much motion blur and the mask struggles to hold the subject.

The grid lines come inside the pack, you drop them on an adjustment layer and they match the blocks.
