At this point I’ve accepted that my Wainwright count isn’t going anywhere 😂

Green Crag → Haystacks → Scarth Gap ⛰️

Alfred Wainwright’s favourite fell and the place where his ashes were scattered after his death, which you probably all already know 🫶

There’s something quite special about knowing that, and then standing up there yourself, looking at the same landscape he loved so much.

I think I can understand why he chose this place. 🤍
