To know uncle was to love him. For years he was so much more than just my coach. He pushed me inside the gym and out to be the best version of myself. He was the strongest most compassionate person you could ever meet and always sharing the most contagious smile. I will strive every day to live like him and make him proud. I will forever miss hearing “MARENNNNNNNNN” and getting to yell “DARRINNNNNNNN” back in the most southern accent we possibly could. I love you uncle ❤️ by @maren.fox1

Recently I have had to say goodbye to doing the sport I’ve loved for 11 years. To most it’s just flipping around in sparkly leotards. But to anyone who has grown to love gymnastics you know it’s so much more than that. The feeling of getting new skills and competing along side the people you love is a feeling you won’t find very often. You make friends that you’re closer to than your family, and you have coaches who are the same way. You learn lessons that will follow you throughout your life. And you learn the true meaning of hard work and perseverance. The past 11 years have consisted of many laughs many obstacles and many tears. I’m heartbroken to say it has come to an end especially sooner than what it had too but I am so glad I get to share the love of gymnastics now through coaching. 💙🖤 by @maren.fox1

Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I tore my ✨acl✨, I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice. -Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz by @maren.fox1
