Whimsical Conviviality is a celebration of togetherness, a feast where every gesture, every sound, and every movement adds to the lively rhythm of the night.
Guests drift around the table, some searching for their assigned spot, others simply slipping into whatever seat feels right. Chairs scrape against the floor with a familiar squeak, hands weave through the air, reaching for overflowing platters, tearing bread, passing plates, feeding eager mouths.
The tablecloth, once pristine, slowly transforms stained with wine, speckled with crumbs, smudged with fingerprints. Silverware jingles like a metallic heartbeat, marking time. The room breathes with movement, a symphony of small rituals: pouring, toasting, slicing, sharing. And then, as the last bite is taken, as hands fall still and cutlery is laid to rest, a hush settles. The night exhales.
What remains is the beautiful chaos of a feast well enjoyed. The quiet mess of a gathering that lingers even after the guests have gone.
But mostly, what remains are abandoned napkins: testimonies of a lived-in, imperfect, and utterly human trace of conviviality itself.

Mateo presents: Culinary Charms - The Focaccia Bag

The Focaccia bag introduces you to the whimsical world of Mateo, where the kitchen becomes the atelier where bags are created.
Ideated as the first of a series of short films that reflect on the relation between food and fashion, and presented in occasion of the last edition of the AMI X IFM prize.
