I actually had to stop filming because I just wanted to be fully present and enjoy this performance. ✨

@tildamaplestone was absolutely captivating. One of those rare artists who completely draws you in from the first note. If it were up to me, I'd have handed her a Grammy right there and then. 🏆🤍

Thank you for such a beautiful performance—it was truly unforgettable.

Revisiting old Marezine footage and somehow my mind kept returning to this band.

Labyrinths and Oceans live @ The Finsbury — dramatic music, great lighting, very casual outfits, and one of those nights that somehow stayed somewhere in the back of my mind.

Funny what survives in the archive. 🖤

Thank you again to everyone who came to @marezine 6th anniversary…I’m still getting over how fun it was! We’re back in September by the way (need to recover from 3 gigs in a row back to back in June and July - ha!) you’ll see me around though I’m sure… 😉

Thank you for all the kind words about my poetry too - it warms my heart to have such a supportive and caring community around me. I’m so glad to have created something special where everyone feels comfortable, understood, welcome and safe to express themselves 🤗 Love love love.

Until we meet again 🌹

And getting to the raging tones of Neuro Placid! I’ve been having a chuckle all week watching people attempt to describe their sound and I’m not going to do any better! 😂 I saw them as kinda a high energy skankin’ reggaefied kinda thingamagummy, a little old style maybe but with a dose of funk and rock and toss in rapping, no … toasting and stir. In other words the kind of band that could only germinate in England!

Totally brilliant anyway and my favourite shot is still the one from the garden I took before the show because I thought “they look interesting!”
