Dexter came into my life right when we both needed each other most. After he lost his mom to cancer and I lost my dad, I took him in and he brought the utmost joy back into my days.

Dexter was the quirkiest, silliest, happiest, and friendliest companion. He gave me the most unconditional love no matter what. Whenever I felt alone I knew I never truly was because I had him.

This past weekend I said goodbye to my whole heart, my soul dog, my best friend, my reason for getting up in the morning most days, and my bright light when I came home. I hope to find peace in knowing he is reunited with his momma and finally meeting my dad and telling him all about the past 4 years.

I love you my Dexter man. Thank you for picking me up off the ground and carrying me through the last few years. My angel. by @marg.t

How lucky am I to have a year full of vulnerability, love, tears, laughter until more tears, and so much growth. Thankful for everyone who filled my cup in 2024!! by @marg.t
