BINGO MARKER fun!!! Saw this in a video and had to try it since I’m dotty for dots, as evidenced from my tissue paper here. Another Dollar Tree hack for Dotty Delights! #dollartree #polkadot by @margiebcherry

A little serendipitous journal-joy!!! Started with a piece in the upper left corner that I wanted to add to my journal, and a swatch of fabric snippets fell out of the back of the book. The colors seemed to go together, so in it went. A different sketchbook was sitting on my table, and I flipped it open randomly to a page of paint stick scribbles that echoed the colors I had pasted down…. So, snip! Snip! In they went, nestled between their friends. Next to the sketchbook were some tissue scraps from another project that begged to be added. A swoosh of watercolor was swiped on with my finger, and another random tissue scrap found its way on top. Color chaos ensued! A jolly mashup of fabric, paint sticks, Posca markers, and tissue. Thumbs up or down for the merry mix? #colorjoy #collagejoy #messyart by @margiebcherry

Had my first “Cold Wax & Oils” class today with Lisa Gallun ( you can see her gorgeous work at Rittenhouse Art Fair this weekend). Had such fun!!! She told us not to fall in love with this (second) layer because we’re going to layer over it next week. Too late! I fell in love. Alas! Stay tuned for the final layer…#oilpainting #coldwax #colorcolorcor by @margiebcherry

“The Mystery of the Apparating Glitter Crayon”….This nifty black glitter-gold black Crayola crayon simply appeared one day on my coffee table. Origin: Unknown. Haven’t bought a crayon in decades. Had to try it out with some fussy-cut lollipop flowers as focal points. The glitter doesn’t show in this pic, but O, Dear Reader, it is THERE! Sparkle on, yon mystery crayon, sparkle on! #crayola #crayons #mysterious by @margiebcherry
