Friday 9/10/1990…32 years ago.
2 weeks overdue and the night before Britney Beeby makes a long awaited entrance into our little family, bringing with her, music that we had no idea that we had been missing, but once we’d heard it with our hearts, it was a song, we knew we could never again do without.
Thank you for the melody, for the ever developing lyrics and the excitement of witnessing you hit the high notes and never allowing yourself to stumble over the lows.

When on a cold, wet, winters day, a mother comes across some safely kept, well worn items, which were at one stage, the treasure of a little girl…Her first pair of heels and a handbag, filled with all forms of ‘little woman’ necessities……A pretend lipstick, a tiny Hello Kitty note book, enclosing a tissue and pencil, a key ring holding an old car key and a little purse containing a few roughly cut out bears, from her favourite Teddy bite size biscuit box, to be used as currency when catching the back yard dual swing ‘bus’ or paying for things at the local kitchen counter store.
How I cherish / miss those times and that little girl, but how I loved being a part of her journey and seeing her grow and evolve into the strong woman she has become.

Pearly, the happy little staffie...letting us plainly know that it’s always a busy day for her at Pringle Bay....what, with seeing nosey, feathered neighbors off the property, running with wild abandonment on the beach, frolicking in the ‘Coca-Cola’ river and fishing with Dad....but now.....Mum please...

Pearl the curious staffie, keeping an eye and nose out for Pringle Bay passers by...guinea fowl, Cape franklin, baboons or a glimpse of a not so furry porcupine out for a forage, although it’s a tad early in the day for old prickles! It is an awful lot of work for a little girl to get through before Mum says, ‘let’s make your din-dins’ Gotta love this pup 💗💜💗 by @margiebeeby
