Stills from a fun audition today. So many roles have me smoking lately! Haha I am not a smoker but I was raised by a family full of them so I’m quite the unexpected natural at it. Had so much fun with this one playing the villain, which I am learning I’m quite good at 😏🎥🎬 #southeastactors #nashvilleactors #ladyvillains #bossbabe by @margo.layerd

New headshots! Went with straight hair for these since I’m wearing it that way most days now, and I’m really excited about it. I think they represent me so well (and accurately) that casting will know exactly what they’re getting. Hoping that my weekly load of audition requests will be dead on target and more specifically fitting for me with these. More efficient for everyone that way! Thank you @steveherlihyphotography for the wonderful work you put in! by @margo.layerd

Summer 2026 has been a blast. From filming my first feature lead role in @fallingwatermovie to shooting my first sitcom sizzle reel with @sundaytvshow, my first experience writing/directing a short film with @cherrynoir.films, and of course some fun commercials in between! I’ve met so many wonderful people along the way. Some days I have to pinch myself. I’ve got so many more exciting things on the horizon and I can’t wait to share more about it! To God be the glory, I am ever grateful. taken in Franklin, Tennessee by @margo.layerd

I recently worked on the POC trailer for a project created and developed by my talented friend @therealchrisbeck. @2016themovie is a poignant coming of age film that shows how letting go of the pain of the past allows you to move forward, all told through the eyes of an 8th grader. What a dream cast and crew to work with. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this project! #nashvilleactors #southeastactors #indiefilmmakers #filmmakers #filmproduction taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @margo.layerd

I was on Prime Time TV last night for the first time! So much has changed since this was shot 4 months ago. I’m so grateful for what this opportunity (and several others last fall) did for me. Episode 16 “Love to Death” of 911 Nashville can be seen now streaming on Hulu. Go watch and support! God directs my steps and leads me down the best pathway for my life. #nashvilleactor #actor #televisionactress taken in Franklin, Tennessee by @margo.layerd

YES SHE DID. This is acting. Also I’ve still got my kicks! This should be an add for healing peptides and Zumba tbh. #nashvilleactors #southeastactors #danceforlife #midlifedancer taken in Franklin High School by @margo.layerd

Some stills from a recent project I was blessed to be a part of. Empathy, protection, grief and loss mixed with joy and gratitude. This little film packed a beautiful emotional punch and explored a raw look at a universal part of the human experience. I’ll share the whole thing one day after its festival run. #actor #nashvilleactors #filmactress taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @margo.layerd
