There are people in this world who simply show up… and then there is
Amanda Little McDaniel of Clover Organizing

I am long overdue in giving Amanda a very loud and very heartfelt shout-out.

A few months ago, I was in the middle of an urgent move helping a family transition their dad into a beautiful residential care home with Jennifer Davis at Davis Family Elder Care. As always, I wanted everything to be just right before arrival. The clock was ticking, and there were still pictures and décor to be hung on the walls, along with special touches to make his new room feel like home.

I had reached the point of desperation.

I called Amanda and asked if she could do me a huge favor.

Without hesitation, she stopped what she was doing, threw on a ball cap, grabbed her toolbox, and came to the rescue. In less than 45 minutes, she had everything hung perfectly, and the room was complete.

That is who Amanda is.

She didn’t ask, “What’s in it for me?” She simply asked, “Where do you need me?”

People don’t always see the incredible people behind the scenes. I truly could not do this work without my village, and Amanda is a very special part of mine.

Amanda, thank you for your kindness, your generosity, your willingness to drop everything to help, and for having such a servant’s heart. You helped turn a room into a home for a family during one of the hardest days of their lives.

The world needs more people like you, and I am so grateful you’re part of my village. ❤️

Today we celebrate my beautiful Grandma’s birthday in Heaven.

She left this world when I was only 18 years old, and it’s hard to believe she has been gone for 40 years. Yet somehow, her love and influence have never faded. The impact she had on my childhood — and on the woman I became — is something I treasure every single day.

She taught me what unconditional love looks like. She showed me the value of a strong work ethic and that family should always come first. Some of my sweetest memories are of Sunday dinners gathered around the table, listening to her play the piano and sing with a joy that filled the whole house.

She also taught me something that has stayed with me my entire life — the importance of good girlfriends and the gift of women supporting and loving one another.

Grandma poured so much love, wisdom, and strength into our family, and even though she has been gone many years, her lessons, her laughter, and her spirit are still with me.

I will be forever grateful for her love. She will always live in my heart, and the impact she had on my life will be treasured forever.

Happy Birthday in Heaven, Grandma.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful niece! Watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You make being a mom look like the greatest gift on earth (even on the messy, exhausting, no-sleep days 😄).

I am so proud of the woman you’ve become! You bring light, laughter, kindness, and warmth wherever you go. The world is truly better because you are in it.

May this year bring you joy! You deserve all the love you give so freely to everyone else.
