The first of many ❤️ Beyond proud of Edison this week, stepping into his first show as a hunter and laying down stellar rounds in the baby greens to finish champion, then allowing me to pilot him in the low adult hunters this weekend. We finished up with an 84 in the second round of the classic to finish 4th out of 21 🤍 Looking forward to one more week in Ocala with @empire_lane @riverbendequestriancenter @voladofarms then a nice month home in July to continue growing with my new guy. taken in World Equestrian Center - Ocala by @margothirsch

An ode to the ponies of my childhood that brought me into this sport and shaped my love for horses. Lyrical, Frisbee, Mischief, Peanut, Petey, Robere, Opal, Buzz, Tootsie, Allie, JJ, Tilly, and even more throughout the years. From small shows on Long Island to my first WEF circuit, they have given me so much. Many have passed on, and a few are still here, still teaching kids- like my sweet Tootsie, who we built our farm for her to live out her days 🩵 by @margothirsch

I am SO ELATED to welcome Menlo Park aka Edison “Eddie” to the family! Huge thank you’s to Jake Evans, Mackenzie Evans, Emily Fee, and the rest of the @empire_lane team for helping me find this unicorn as well as my family for always supporting me from near and far and helping me to achieve my dreams. Edison is named after the wonderful Thomas Edison who, at the Menlo Park Research Facility in NJ, contributed heavily to many modern inventions that allow us to live our lives today. Edison will continue his journey in Ocala for the next month or two before he joins me at my home farm. I cannot wait to begin campaigning him this summer in some young horse classes! He’s got big shoes to fill as Darwin’s departure left a hole in my heart but I am excited beyond words for this new partnership and hopeful for a very bright future! by @margothirsch
