2025

My project is an installation made of 20 canvases, shaped into 6 figures, which together create 4 main motifs.

The key themes of my project are cycles of self-hatred and self-destruction, the way people get trapped in their own patterns, and attempt to understend what is true self love means.
I explore how the body becomes a carrier of experience, especially when it goes through destructive mechanisms that are difficult to escape from.

The journey to self-love has shown that the process of creation becomes a key element of breaking out from self imposed limitations.

This painting was born through movement and dance.
I put on a 3-hour DJ set by @prance.co & @meesjavois started dancing, and let the brush follow.
What you see is the painting at different stages:
not planned, just felt.
