Following in the formidable footsteps of my incredible mother, who once served as Secretary of the Department of Justice. Grateful to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Secretary Boying Remulla for entrusting me with the role of Undersecretary. Ready to continue the legacy, uphold justice, and make a meaningful impact to the lives of my fellow Filipinos. 🌟🙌 #JustDOJIt #parasabayan🇵🇭 taken in Department of Justice (Philippines) by @marguti713

With great pride and honor, I stand before our flag as H.E. President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. officiated the Oath of Office at President's Hall in Malacañan Palace last May 17, 2023. It may have been a belated oath taking before our Chief Executive, but it was truly a gratifying experience all the same.

His Excellency, thank you for entrusting us and bringing us along on this journey to improve the lives of every Filipino. My unwavering commitment to uphold an accountable, reliable, and responsive government shall always be at the core of my sworn vocation to serve our people. Buong puso ako magsisilbi para sa inang bayan!🇵🇭

Still feeling grateful and humbled to be recognized as one of @peopleasia's #WomenOfStyleAndSubstance for 2026. ♥️

This moment feels even more special because I got to celebrate it with the people who have been part of my journey and continue to support me every step of the way.

Public service has always been more than a profession for me. It is a commitment to serve, to listen, and to make a difference in the lives of others. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue doing this work at the Department of Justice and through the DOJ Action Center.

Thank you, PeopleAsia, for this recognition and for celebrating women who continue to lead with purpose and serve with heart. 🇵🇭⚖️

Sharing the Philippines’ Pledge for Justice at the High-Level Debate of the 15th United Nations Crime Congress in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

As Head of the Philippine Delegation, I reaffirmed our commitment to people-centered justice and stronger action against cybercrime, online scams, trafficking, and crimes targeting children.

By 2027, the country commits to developing a National Cybercrime Prevention and Suppression Plan and Strategy while strengthening international cooperation, digital threat detection, and access to justice for underserved communities.

The Philippines stands ready to work with the international community toward safer communities and people-centered justice for all. by @marguti713

Happy birthday to my first teacher, my greatest inspiration, and my forever Mom.

I’ve seen your strength, grace, and dedication not just in the work you do, but in the way you’ve always cared for our family.

I’m so grateful to have you as my Mom and to learn from you every day. Love you always, Ma. Happy birthday! ❤️ by @marguti713

A brilliant mind and a statuesque beauty to boot, what makes her a truly exceptional lawyer is her genuine compassion for others.

Justice Undersecretary Margarita Gutierrez explains how her background in modeling has helped broaden her empathy and understanding of people while she navigates the complexities of litigation.
