This October heat got me reminiscing 😂 We really used to be outside ALL DAY.

Now I’m good right here on this couch.

I used to think having a 9-to-5 meant giving up some of my freedom as a creative.

Turns out, the right one can give you the structure and resources to build even more of it.

Still creating. Still building. Still figuring it out. 🤞🏾

Almost didn’t share this, but why not be vulnerable about it?

This is my experience, and someone else might be experiencing the same thing.

Still learning how my brain works. 🧠❤️

A year ago, I was unemployed and had no idea what was next.

Today, I’m celebrating two quarters in a row hitting quota in a completely new career. 🙏🏾

A lot can change when you keep showing up, do good work, treat people right, and keep the faith before you have proof.

Your life can look a whole lot different a year from now. ❤️

Every version of me was preparing me for the next one. And I’m grateful for the people who loved me through all of them. Special shouts to @harmonic.aa

Every city left me with something I needed later.

Chicago taught me how to finesse.
New York taught me how to hustle.
Atlanta taught me faith.
LA taught me how to reinvent myself and appreciate the present.

Funny how life works. Sometimes you don’t realize what a chapter taught you until life asks you to use it again.

Grateful for every version of me that got me here. ❤️

Work trip, but make it stylish.

LA -> SF to talk apps, meet founders, and help them grow.

Reaching goals? It could all be so simple! Chip away at it bit by bit, celebrate the small wins, collect tools along the way. Your successes will compound and you’ll reach a higher version of yourself before you know it! by @mari.world
